The National Association of Racing(NAR)

We help racing by local governments conduct racing fairly and smoothly.

The NAR is directly involved with racing by local governments.

NAR was founded on August 1, 1962 as a special corporation based on the Horse Racing Law. As a "Local Communities Corporation", the NAR implements projects that are in the common interest and benefit of the local government’s racing organizers. From January 1st, 2008, the NAR became the main governing body for the fair and smooth organization of racing throughout all of the local government tracks. The NAR works to improve the lives of horses and promote the livestock industry in Japan.
